Game Overview
Street Fighter II on the Amiga—man, this takes me back. Chun-Li’s spinning bird kick still feels weirdly satisfying to pull off, even if the controls take some getting used to. The sprites are chunkier than the arcade version, but there’s something charming about it. You’ll spend the first few matches figuring out how to time Hadoukens without the joystick, and by the time you reach Vega, your thumbs will either hate you or love you. The music’s tinny but weirdly catchy, especially that stage theme that gets stuck in your head for days. It’s not perfect, but it’s the closest you could get to the arcade at home back then.
