Game Overview
Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha is that classic arcade brawler where every match feels like it’s on a knife’s edge. The combos are snappy, the special moves hit hard, and the AI doesn’t pull punches—even on normal difficulty. I remember getting wrecked by Charlie Nash’s Sonic Booms until I figured out the timing for counters.
What sets this one apart is the Alpha Counters and Custom Combos. Messing around with those in training mode feels like unlocking cheat codes mid-fight. And the roster? Chun-Li’s lightning legs, Akuma’s teleporting nonsense—it’s all here, dialed up just right. The pixel art still holds up too, especially the super move animations.
If you’ve played any of the Alpha series, this is the one where they nailed the balance between speed and strategy. Just don’t blame me when you lose three rounds in a row to Bison’s psycho crusher spam.
