Play Super Bikkuriman on Snes Online
Pick a little elemental dude, then bounce through candy-colored stages smacking weirdos and watching your guy morph into stranger versions of himself—pure SNES chaos.

Super Bikkuriman came out on the Super Nintendo in 1993, developed by BEC. It was one of those mid-lifecycle SNES games that tried something a little different, based on a Japanese toy and anime series that never really took off overseas. You don't see many people talk about it now, but it had a certain charm if you stumbled upon it back then.
You control a small, colorful hero who runs and jumps through side-scrolling levels, punching and kicking an assortment of odd enemies. The main goal is simply to get to the end of each stage, but the real hook is collecting capsules that transform your character into a more powerful, and often weirder, mythological form. These transformations are temporary but essential for dealing with tougher foes and obstacles. The pacing is brisk, the levels are short, and the difficulty can feel a bit uneven, sometimes spiking unexpectedly. It feels like playing a Saturday morning cartoon that's a little unpolished but full of bizarre energy.
