Super Chinese World 2 is one of those weird little SNES games that never made it outside Japan, but man, it’s a riot. You play as these tiny martial artists brawling their way through an intergalactic tournament—yeah, it’s as ridiculous as it sounds. The controls feel like classic River City Ransom (same series, different name), but with SNES-level polish and way more chaos.

At first, I wasn’t sure about the space theme, but it actually works. You jump between planets, beating up gangs of goons with chairs, nunchucks, whatever’s lying around. There’s even light RPG stuff—you level up stats and buy upgrades between fights. The pixel art’s full of dumb little details, like enemies flailing when you knock them down or the way your character wobbles after eating too much food mid-battle.

Best part? Co-op. Everything’s more fun when you’ve got a friend shoulder-checking aliens with you. If you’re into beat ‘em ups with a side of nonsense, this one’s a blast from the past worth tracking down.
