Super Chinese World 3 came out on the Super Nintendo in 1995, developed by Culture Brain. It was part of that wave of mid-90s platformers that tried to mix familiar ideas with a little extra personality, and it landed right when the SNES library was full of colorful, exploratory games.
You control either Ryu or Jack, moving screen by screen through themed worlds, fighting enemies with your sword or a bow. The main goal is to collect pieces of a magical artifact, which involves navigating platforming challenges, solving simple environmental puzzles, and beating boss fights. The pacing is steady, and the difficulty feels fair without being too easy. It’s a straightforward, comfortable kind of adventure that just feels good to play.
