Super Copa came out for the Super Nintendo in 1991, developed by Sculptured Software. It was one of the many sports titles that tried to carve out a space on the console, offering a straightforward take on international soccer without the flash of some other releases from that period.
You control a team of players, moving them down the field to score goals against your opponent. The main objective is to win the tournament by defeating every other national team. Signature mechanics include performing slide tackles that can send opposing players flying, and taking powerful shots that feel weighty and can sometimes warp the net.
