Remember dodgeball in gym class? Yeah, forget that. Super Dodge Ball on NES cranks it up to ridiculous levels. You've got six players per side, each with their own weird special moves – some guys throw curveballs that defy physics, others just straight-up body slam opponents. The USA team feels overpowered (of course), but wait till you face the Soviets in World Cup mode – those guys play dirty.
Best part? Bean Ball mode is pure chaos. It's you versus everyone else, including your "teammates" who'll turn on you the second they get a chance. The AI goes full feral in this mode – I've had games where the computer players formed temporary alliances just to take me out first. Rude.
Pro tip: The Japanese team's spinning throw is borderline unfair, but so satisfying when you nail someone across the court with it.
