Super Dogfight is one of those SNES games you stumble onto and can't put down. At first glance, it looks like another arcadey flight shooter, but the controls are so sharp—your plane actually feels light and responsive, not like a brick with wings. You're dodging flak, weaving between enemy fire, and pulling off tight turns that make the screen blur just enough to feel dangerous.
The bosses are ridiculous in the best way—huge, screen-filling monstrosities that take actual strategy to bring down, not just mindless shooting. And yeah, the graphics are simple by today's standards, but there's something satisfying about the way explosions pop against those chunky pixel skies. Found myself replaying missions just to shave seconds off my time.
If you miss the days when games were about reflexes and pure fun over cutscenes, this one's a no-brainer. Just don't blame me when you lose an hour to "one last run."
