Play Super James Pond Online
You bounce through absurd underwater levels as a tuxedo-wearing fish, dodging propeller sharks and riding confused jellyfish—physics clearly took the day off here.

Super James Pond came out on the Super Nintendo in 1992 from Millennium Interactive. It was part of that wave of early SNES platformers that tried to be a bit more cartoonish and silly, a contrast to the more serious fantasy or sci-fi adventures. The game doesn't take itself seriously at all, which was a nice change of pace back then.
You control James Pond, a fish secret agent, through side-scrolling aquatic levels. Your main goal is to rescue your partner, Dr. Maybe, from the villainous Dr. Maybe (yes, they have the same name). You swim through each stage, bouncing off enemies and environmental objects with a stretchy, elastic body. You collect pearls to open doors and find keys to progress, all while avoiding an assortment of ridiculous sea creatures. The pacing is frantic, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly due to some slippery controls. It feels like playing through a chaotic, underwater cartoon where the rules are made up as you go.
