Super Mad Champ came out for the Super Nintendo in 1995, developed by Givro. It was part of that later wave of SNES games, the kind that tried to squeeze a little more out of the hardware before the next generation took over. You don't hear much about it now, but it had its own thing going.

You control a rider on a motorcycle, racing through a series of chaotic tracks. The main goal is to win each race, earning enough prize money to pay the entry fee for the next one and to afford bike upgrades. Key mechanics include dropping oil slicks or other hazards to disrupt opponents, managing a very limited budget between races for repairs and new parts, and dealing with aggressive AI riders that constantly try to run you off the road. The pacing is frantic, and the difficulty is unforgiving if you don't manage your cash wisely. It feels like a constant, tense scramble just to stay in the competition.
