What makes this version special are the remixed stages and the weirdly fun Item Mode, where power-ups can either save you or completely backfire. One match I was winning, then accidentally froze my own stack with a bad item pick. Classic Puyo chaos.
It’s got that same squishy, colorful charm as the original, but with enough tweaks to feel fresh—especially if you’ve played Tsuu to death. Just don’t blame me when you lose an hour to "one more match."
