Super Return of the Jedi wraps up the SNES Star Wars trilogy with the same chaotic, side-scrolling action as the first two games—just with more Ewoks and speeder bikes this time. You jump between Luke, Han, and Leia (plus Chewie and even Wicket at points), blasting stormtroopers and slicing through Jabba’s goons with that satisfying lightsaber hum. The levels follow the movie pretty closely, from the Sarlacc pit to Endor’s forests, though some stages drag a bit (looking at you, speeder bike section).

It’s tough as nails in that classic 16-bit way—expect to die a lot until you memorize enemy patterns. The music slaps, though, and nailing a perfect run through the Death Star finale feels amazing. Not the best in the trilogy, but a solid send-off for pixelated Star Wars fans.
