You control a paddle at the bottom of the screen, but instead of a ball, you're batting around a character who bounces off the walls and ceiling. The main goal is to outlast your opponent, human or CPU, by making them miss a return. The signature mechanics are the way the character bounces unpredictably, especially after hitting certain parts of the stage, and the special power-ups that fly across the screen to temporarily alter your paddle's size or speed. Matches are frantic and surprisingly difficult once the pace picks up, demanding quick reflexes more than careful strategy.
