Play Surf's Up Online
Pick a surfer, carve up waves with tight controls, and unlock better boards by nailing tricks—those weird little minigames between races are a nice breather.

Surf's Up came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2007, published by Ubisoft. It was part of that wave of movie tie-in games that were pretty common on the handheld, and it was based on the animated film of the same name. The GBA was still getting a decent amount of support then, mostly with these kinds of licensed titles aimed at a younger audience.
You control one of the penguin surfers from the movie, like Cody Maverick, and the goal is to win the Big Z Memorial Surf Off. The gameplay is split between racing down waves and performing trick sequences in short minigames. You use the D-pad and face buttons to steer, build speed, and pull off moves to fill a trick meter before time runs out. The racing feels responsive, but the trick events can be a bit finicky and repetitive. The overall pacing is fairly relaxed, not too punishing, making it an easy game to pick up for short sessions. It feels like a simple, straightforward arcade sports game that captures the chill vibe of its source material.
