The islands feel alive in that janky Game Boy Color way—storms roll in, animals react to your presence, and every scrap of driftwood or vine could be the difference between a shelter and another miserable night under the stars. What hooked me were the little discoveries, like realizing you could combine items in weird ways (who knew bamboo + rope = a halfway decent raft?). And yeah, the multiple endings aren’t just fluff—your choices actually matter, whether you befriend the local wildlife or, uh, accidentally burn down half the forest trying to cook a fish.
If you liked the first game, this one cranks up the survival chaos with two islands to juggle. If you’re new? Expect a lot of trial-and-error, but in that satisfying way where every dumb mistake feels like a lesson. Just maybe avoid the berries.
