Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop is basically the cutest little business sim on the DS. You team up with one of those round little Tamagotchi creatures (I always pick Memetchi because she's ridiculous) to run a shop together. At first you're just doing basic stuff like decorating cakes or drilling cavities (yes, really), but there's something weirdly satisfying about nailing a customer's weirdly specific cake request.
The minigames are simple but just tricky enough—like when someone asks for exactly five takoyaki balls and you accidentally drop one on the floor. Oops. As you earn Gotchi points, you can expand your shop and unlock new weird services, like a spa where you scrub Tamagotchi clean or a dental accessory shop where you... decorate teeth with glitter. It gets surreal.
Princess Tamako showing up feels like a big deal when you're twelve, and honestly? Still kind of does. The whole thing has that classic Tamagotchi charm—bright colors, silly sounds, and just enough challenge to keep you tapping away with the stylus.
