Tangled on the DS is basically like playing through the movie, but with a few fun twists. You start off as Rapunzel in her tower, and yeah—you get to swing that frying pan around right away. The platforming feels pretty smooth for a handheld game, and the puzzles are just tricky enough to make you pause without getting frustrating.
What surprised me was how they worked her hair into the gameplay—you’ll use it to climb, swing, and even whip enemies. The art style nails the movie’s vibe, and the mini-games (like painting or dancing) break things up nicely. It’s one of those licensed games that actually feels like it had some thought put into it.
