You play as Taz, obviously, spinning through levels like a furry wrecking ball, chomping on enemies, smashing crates, and generally causing mayhem. The controls are simple (mostly just spin and bite), but the levels throw so much at you that it never feels mindless.
What surprised me was how well it captures the energy of the old Looney Tunes shorts. The sound effects are spot-on—that growl never gets old—and the colors pop even on the tiny GBC screen. Some platformers from this era feel sluggish, but Taz moves like he’s got a fire under him (or, y’know, an insatiable hunger). Just don’t expect deep strategy—this is pure, dumb fun, and it knows it.
Fair warning: you’ll probably die a lot. But each level’s short enough that it doesn’t feel punishing, just frantic. Perfect for quick bursts of nostalgia or reminding yourself how weird 90s licensed games could be.
