Play Tecmo Super Bowl on Snes Online

Call plays from a clean menu, then watch your tiny players slip in snow or nail a perfect bomb pass—it's 90s football without all the modern fluff. Still the best way to settle arguments with a last-second touchdown.

Game Overview

Remember the NES Tecmo Bowl? This is the beefed-up SNES version, and it’s just as chaotic and fun. You’ve got all the NFL teams and players (well, the 90s rosters, anyway), but now with rain, snow, and even customizable playbooks mid-game. The graphics are still simple—no fancy 3D here—but that just means you focus more on outsmarting your buddy with a last-second Hail Mary.

First thing you’ll notice: the play-calling screen is way cleaner than the NES version. And yeah, you can tweak the quarter length if you don’t want a full 15-minute slugfest. Pro tip: avoid passing in snow unless you enjoy watching your QB slip like he’s on a buttered-up sidewalk.

It’s not Madden, but that’s the point. This is pure arcade football with just enough strategy to keep things interesting.
