If you grew up with the Amiga, you probably remember T2: The Arcade Game—that gloriously chaotic rail shooter where you and a buddy blast through waves of Terminators like there’s no tomorrow (which, given the plot, there kinda isn’t). The first few levels throw you straight into the war-torn future, mowing down metal skeletons with a machine gun that will overheat if you get too trigger-happy. Coolant pickups are your best friend.

Then, just when you think you’ve saved humanity, bam—time travel. Suddenly you’re in the present, swapping missiles for shotguns and protecting John Connor from the T-1000. The levels are ripped straight from the movie, right down to Arnie’s voice clips and those eerie close-ups of Robert Patrick’s liquid-metal face. It’s janky in that classic ‘90s way, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about watching SkyNet’s research go up in flames, one pixelated explosion at a time.

Honestly, the two-player mode is where it shines. Nothing beats frantically yelling at your friend to stop hogging all the shotgun ammo while the T-1000 oozes toward you. Just don’t expect deep strategy—this is pure, dumb, Terminator-flavored fun.
