Play Terminator 2: Judgment Day on Msdos Online

You control a clunky Arnold sprite through pixelated chaos—shooting cops, crashing bikes, and watching the T-1000 glitch across the screen like a broken toy. Pure '91 jank, but hard to look away.

Game Overview

Terminator 2 on MS-DOS is one of those old-school movie tie-ins that somehow manages to be both janky and weirdly charming. You play as the T-800 (Arnold’s character) in a mix of top-down and side-scrolling levels, blasting through cops, dodging obstacles, and occasionally driving a motorcycle straight into a wall because the controls are… well, they’re from 1991.

The levels loosely follow the movie—rescuing John Connor, escaping the mental hospital, that kind of thing—but don’t expect a deep story. The graphics are rough even by DOS standards, with blocky sprites and some truly bizarre enemy designs. The T-1000 looks more like a melted action figure than a liquid metal killing machine.

It’s not a great game, honestly, but there’s something fun about how shamelessly it throws you into chaotic shootouts with barely any explanation. Just don’t be surprised when you die a lot—those old Ocean Software ports loved their cheap hits. If you’re into retro weirdness, it’s a fun little time capsule.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
