Jungle vines, ancient ruins, and Snowy sniffing out secrets—you’ll platform through comic-book Peru, dodging traps and bopping bad guys with whatever’s lying around.

Game Overview
Man, The Adventures of Tintin - Prisoners of the Sun on SNES takes me back. You start off in this lush jungle, swinging from vines like some kind of pint-sized Indiana Jones—except with better hair and a dog that actually helps instead of just barking at everything. The first thing that hits you is how spot-on the art style is; it looks like Hergé’s panels jumped straight out of the comic.
Gameplay’s a mix of platforming, light puzzles (nothing too brain-melting), and whacking villains with whatever’s handy—walking sticks, barrels, you name it. Snowy’s weirdly useful too, sniffing out hidden items or distracting guards. Some levels have this great "escape the temple" tension with rolling boulders and spike traps, while others let you just explore ancient ruins at your own pace.
It’s not perfect—the jumping can feel a little floaty at first—but for a ’90s licensed game, it’s way better than it had any right to be. If you ever doodled Tintin in your school notebook, this is basically that fantasy brought to life.
