Game Overview
Remember that cheesy-but-awesome 80s movie The Last Starfighter? This NES game throws you right into the pilot seat of that same crazy spaceship. At first, the controls feel a little weird โ your ship stays centered while the starfield scrolls past, and you're constantly flipping between forward and backward thrust. But after a few minutes, you'll be pulling tight turns and collapsing your ship into this sleek, narrow mode to dodge enemy fire.
Enemies swarm from every direction โ some in tight formations, others just kamikaze-ing straight at you. The real challenge? Taking down those massive starcruisers while dodging a hailstorm of bullets. Oh, and if you've got a buddy around, you can swap the controller back and forth in 2-player mode (though good luck not yelling at each other when someone dies on the boss fight).
