Play Three Stooges Online

Pick your stooge and dive into a slapstick brawl—punching, pie-throwing, and tripping over everything while the "woob woob woob" plays on loop. It’s pure chaos, especially when you accidentally knock yourself out with a ladder swing.

Game Overview

Three Stooges for the NES came out in 1989, developed by Beam Software and published by Activision. It was one of those many licensed games from that era, trying to capture the spirit of a popular act in a side scrolling format. You control either Moe, Larry, or Curly, each with their own slight variations, through a series of stages based on the trio's classic shorts.

The main goal is to earn enough money by the end of each stage to pay the rent and avoid the landlord's wrath. You do this by moving screen by screen, punching enemies, throwing pies, and interacting with objects in the environment, like ladders and doors, which often backfire comically. The pacing is frantic, and the difficulty comes from the unpredictable physics and your own attacks sometimes working against you. It feels exactly as clumsy and silly as you'd hope a Stooges game would.
