Thunderbirds on Game Boy Advance came out in 2000, developed by Vicarious Visions. It was one of those early GBA titles that tried to capture a licensed property, fitting right in with the platform's mix of ambitious ports and original ideas. You control the three Tracy brothers, each with a unique ability: Scott handles heavy lifting and combat, Virgil crawls through vents, and Alan uses a remote control device for hacking and distractions. The main goal is to rescue the captured International Rescue team by navigating through enemy bases, solving environmental puzzles, and avoiding guards. You switch characters on the fly to overcome obstacles, like using Alan to disable cameras so Scott can proceed safely. The pacing is methodical, with some trial and error in figuring out the right character for each situation. It feels like a straightforward puzzle-platformer that captures the teamwork spirit of the source material.
