Game Overview

Thunderbirds on GBC is basically a love letter to the classic show, packed with seven mini-games that each nail the vibe of the different Thunderbird machines. You start off hopping between missions—one minute you're in TB1 blasting enemy drones and rescuing civilians in a side-scrolling shooter, the next you're puzzling your way through wreckage in TB2's top-down rescue mode. The shift in gameplay styles keeps it interesting, though TB3's space shooter section is easily the most intense (watch out for those asteroids).

My personal favorite? FAB1's arcade-style chase sequences—it feels like an old-school racing game where you're weaving through traffic to catch the Hood's goons. And yeah, the Mole digging sections totally give off Dig Dug vibes, but with way cooler explosions. The locations switch up too, from jungles to underwater trenches, so it never feels repetitive. Brains chimes in with intel between missions, slowly unraveling the Hood's plans. If you grew up with Thunderbirds, this one's a nostalgia trip worth taking.
