I first played Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose on the Super Nintendo back in 1993. Konami handled the development, and it felt like a solid platformer for its time, fitting right in with the colorful, animated games that were popular on the SNES. It was based on the cartoon, so it had that familiar energy and humor, but it didn't try to reinvent the wheel.

You control Buster Bunny through a series of side scrolling stages, each with a clear goal: reach the end, defeat the boss, and rescue your friends. The gameplay involves a lot of running and jumping, but Buster has a few special moves, like a ground slide to take out enemies and a wall climb to access higher areas. Between levels, you get pulled into unexpected mini games, such as a frantic football match or a bumper car race, which break up the pacing nicely. The difficulty is manageable, never too punishing, but it keeps you engaged with variety. It feels like a lighthearted, fast paced cartoon brought to life.
