Tom Landry Strategy Football on the Amiga is one of those old-school football sims where you actually feel like you're learning the game from a legend. You pick a team, tweak the roster, and get little nuggets of wisdom from Coach Landry himself—which helps, because I had no idea what a "cover 2" was before playing.
Gameplay’s split between management (signing players, setting formations) and watching your team execute plays in this side-scrolling stadium view. You can’t directly control the players, but calling audibles and swapping tired guys out actually makes a difference. The VCR controls are a lifesaver—sometimes you just wanna fast-forward through a brutal third-and-long.
