If you missed the original Tomb Raider back in the day, Anniversary on PSP is a great way to experience Lara’s first big adventure—just way prettier. The controls feel smoother than the old tank-style movement, and the puzzles actually make sense now (mostly). Climbing crumbling ruins in Greece or sneaking past T-Rexes in Peru still gives that classic explorer vibe, but with way fewer janky camera moments.
They kept all the iconic stuff—the giant manor full of secrets, the creepy tombs where you swear something’s watching you—but added little tweaks like ledge-hopping that makes Lara feel way more agile. Some of the platforming still makes you sweat, especially on PSP’s smaller screen, but pulling off a perfect jump over spikes never gets old. It’s still Lara at her best: whip-smart, stubborn, and occasionally falling into bottomless pits.
