Track & Field-mame is that old-school arcade game where you basically destroy your keyboard (or arcade buttons, if you're fancy) trying to sprint, jump, and throw stuff faster than anyone else. It’s one of those games where your fingers hurt after five minutes, but you keep going because you know you can beat your last long jump record.

The events are simple—sprinting, javelin, hurdles—but nailing the timing is brutal. You’ll be hammering buttons like a maniac, then suddenly realize you overshot the javelin angle and it’s now flying into the crowd. The competition mode is where it really shines, especially if you’ve got a friend willing to risk carpal tunnel for bragging rights.

It’s pure 80s arcade chaos, and somehow that’s still a good thing.
