Game Overview

Remember that old NES track and field game where you'd basically destroy your controller trying to sprint? This is the Barcelona Olympics version of that madness. You pick from the usual events—100m dash, hurdles, long jump—and then proceed to mash buttons like your life depends on it. The pixelated crowd even waves little flags in the background, which is a nice touch.

What I love about this one is how unapologetically simple it is. No fancy mechanics, just you versus the clock (or a friend, if you're feeling competitive). The hurdles are weirdly satisfying once you get the timing down, though I still occasionally faceplant into the sand pit during long jumps. It’s got that classic "just one more try" energy when you’re 0.01 seconds away from beating your record.

Fair warning: your thumbs will hate you after a few rounds. But hey, that’s part of the charm.
