You start off blasting Autobots in tight corridors, switching between robot and vehicle form mid-combat—tank treads for plowing through enemies, jet mode for quick escapes. The controls take a minute to get used to, but transforming feels satisfying once it clicks.
The story’s the same as the console version (just scaled down), with some DS-exclusive arenas that get seriously chaotic. What’s cool is you can unlock extra characters by battling friends locally—though good luck finding someone else with a copy these days. My only gripe? The camera gets fussy in cramped spaces, but hey, it’s a DS game where you get to be a flying gun that turns into a jet. Hard to complain too much.
