Play True Lies on GB Online
You play as Schwarzenegger blasting through terrorists in tight top-down levels—dodge flamethrowers, grab shotguns, and try not to accidentally waste civilians between reloads.

True Lies on the Game Boy came out in 1994, developed by Beam Software and published by LJN. It was part of that wave of movie tie-ins on the handheld, where you got a condensed, often simplified version of the big screen action. This one tried to capture the over the top spirit of the film in a tiny cartridge.
You control Arnold Schwarzenegger's character, Harry Tasker, moving through a series of single screen levels viewed from above. Your main goal is to shoot every enemy terrorist you see while avoiding the panicked civilians who run across your path. The signature mechanics involve careful ammo management, since your weapons have limited bullets, and navigating the cramped environments that force close quarters combat. The pacing is fast and the difficulty can be unforgiving if you're not precise with your shots. It feels like a tense, claustrophobic shootout where every bullet counts.
