Play Tubular Worlds Online
Dodge neon bullets in tight tunnels while your ship handles like a shopping cart—until suddenly it clicks and you’re threading through chaos like it’s nothing. Those ‘90s power-ups might save you or wreck you, no way to tell until you grab ‘em.

Tubular Worlds came out in 1994 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Creative Game Design. It was one of those mid-90s DOS titles that didn't try to push hardware limits but offered a distinct, focused experience. You played it on a beige box monitor, probably with a keyboard that clacked louder than the game's sound effects.
You control a small, nimble ship navigating tight, tube-like corridors filled with enemy fire and obstacles. The main goal is simply to survive, screen by screen, while collecting power-ups that unpredictably alter your ship's speed, weapon, or hitbox. The pacing is relentless; one mistake often sends you back to the start of a lengthy stage. It feels like threading a needle while someone shakes the table, but pulling it off brings a sharp, quiet satisfaction.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
