Play Ultraman (Japan) Online

Punch kaiju through crumbling cities, charge up your Specium Ray, and wrestle rubber monsters in chunky pixel art that nails the old-school Ultraman vibe. It’s janky in places, but nailing that perfect beam attack feels so good.

Game Overview

Ultraman on the SNES is basically like playing through an episode of the old-school TV show—giant rubber monsters, dramatic poses, and all. You’re thrown right into the action, side-scrolling through cityscapes while kaiju wreck everything in sight. The controls are simple—punch, jump, and charge up that iconic Specium Ray—but timing it just right to blast a monster mid-attack never gets old.

The pixel art is chunky and bright, with these exaggerated monster designs that look like they stepped out of a vintage Ultraman episode. Some of the fights drag a little, and the difficulty spikes out of nowhere, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about wrestling a giant lizard into submission. It’s not the most complex beat ‘em up, but if you’ve ever wanted to pretend you’re a silver-suited hero saving Tokyo, this is your chance.

Just remember: the posing is mandatory. You haven’t really won until you’ve struck that classic arms-crossed stance.
