Untouchables came out on the NES in 1991, developed by Ocean Software. It was one of many licensed games from that era, based on the popular film about Eliot Ness and his team taking on Al Capone's criminal empire in Prohibition-era Chicago.
You control Eliot Ness, moving through side-scrolling urban levels like warehouses and city streets. Your main goal is to arrest or eliminate gangsters, working your way toward confronting Capone himself. You use your fists, a pistol with limited ammo, and occasionally a shotgun or tommy gun picked up from downed enemies. The game is known for its high difficulty; enemies swarm you from both sides, and your health depletes quickly if you aren't careful. It feels tense and unforgiving, demanding quick reflexes and smart positioning to survive each screen.
