Play Ushio to Tora (Japan) Online
Swing a cursed spear while its demon prisoner snarks at you, clearing waves of gremlins between screen-filling bosses that'll test your pattern-reading. The manga's energy comes through in Ushio's wild jumps and those exaggerated enemy designs.

Game Overview
Ushio to Tora on SNES is one of those anime tie-in platformers that actually holds up better than you'd expect. You play as Ushio, swinging around this cursed spear (which, by the way, has a demon named Tora trapped inside—he occasionally chimes in with sarcastic comments). The levels are packed with these little gremlin-like demons that just keep coming at you, and the controls feel surprisingly tight for a licensed game.
Each stage ends with a big, screen-filling boss—some of them are seriously tough until you figure out their patterns. The art style nails the manga's vibe, too, with those exaggerated enemy designs and Ushio's wild hair flapping around as he jumps. It's not revolutionary, but if you're into 90s action-platformers, this one's got charm.
Just don't expect Tora to be helpful most of the time—he's too busy complaining.
