Valhalla Knights came out for the PlayStation Portable in 2006, developed by K2 and published by Marvelous Entertainment. It was one of those early PSP RPGs that tried to blend open exploration with party management, landing in an era where portable games were still figuring out how much complexity players would tolerate on the go.

You control a custom hero and recruit up to five additional characters, each with their own class and skill trees. The main goal involves exploring dungeons screen by screen, fighting monsters in real-time combat that lets you switch between melee, magic, and ranged attacks on the fly.
