Game Overview

WarioWare: Twisted! is pure chaos in the best way possible. You know how the first game threw absurd microgames at you? This one cranks it up by making you physically twist and tilt your GBA to play. Wario breaks his console (classic Wario), gets it "fixed" by Dr. Crygor, and suddenly you're holding a rumble-packed, gyro-sensor monster that demands you shake, spin, and occasionally mash the A button like your life depends on it.

The microgames are ridiculous—some last literally two seconds. You’ll tilt to dodge falling anvils, spin to unscrew a lightbulb, or flip the system upside down to "pour" virtual soup. The descriptions are uselessly vague ("Dodge!" "Eat!"), so half the fun is panicking while you figure out what the heck you’re supposed to do. And just when you think you’ve got the rhythm, the game screams "FASTER!" and everything goes off the rails.

Each character’s stage has its own gimmick: Mona’s games need gentle twists, Jimmy T.’s are rhythm-based, and Dr. Crygor’s mess with gravity. The Nintendo-themed ones (courtesy of 9-Volt and 18-Volt) are a nostalgia trip—imagine tilting your GBA to play a mini Donkey Kong. And after beating story mode, you unlock weird little toys and mini-games, like a virtual sewing machine or a cat you roll around to squish bugs. It’s gloriously stupid in the way only Wario can pull off.

If you’ve ever wanted to look like a maniac spinning your Game Boy in public, this is your chance.
