Game Overview

Ever wanted to play as a tiny vampire prince who fights with his hat? The Twisted Tales of Spike McFang is this weird little SNES gem where you smack enemies with your cape, fling your hat like a boomerang, or blast them with magic cards. And yes, you can also eat hearts (or tomatoes, if you got the censored version) to heal—because why not?

It starts simple—you’re just trying to rescue your parents—but then the story gets twisty, with shady villains and surprise allies joining you along the way. The islands you explore are packed with bizarre enemies, like garlic bulbs that hate vampires (obviously) and cats that throw bombs (less obviously). The different hats you collect actually change how your attacks work, which is way cooler than just getting a stat boost.

It’s short, quirky, and has that weird early ‘90s RPG charm where nothing makes total sense but you’re having fun anyway. Definitely one of those "how did this get made?" games.
