Dragon Tales: Dragon Adventures is one of those cute little GBA platformers based on the kids' show—you know, where Emmy and Max jump into a magic book full of dragons. It’s simple, but there’s something oddly satisfying about bouncing on giant drums and sliding down rainbow slides while collecting dragon berries or puzzle pieces.

You pick from five short stories, each with its own little twist. One has you reuniting lost baby animals, another sends you hunting for pirate treasure—nothing too deep, but the levels change things up just enough. Max and Emmy can crawl into tight spots, while the dragons get a handy hover move. And yeah, you’ll probably spend half your time grabbing random cupcakes and jewels just because they’re there.

The GBA version adds a quick training level to get used to the mechanics, plus Zak and Wheezie as extra playable characters. It’s definitely aimed at younger players, but the colors pop nicely, and the music’s weirdly catchy. If you ever watched the show as a kid, it’s a fun little nostalgia trip.
