Download Dragon Ball Z - Shin Budokai (Europe) ROM – Sony PSP Game
Pulling off Kamehamehas feels surprisingly smooth on PSP, and the story mode actually makes you care about beating up Janemba—until your friend picks Broly in multiplayer and ruins everything.
Game Overview
Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai on PSP is one of those rare anime fighters that actually feels good to play on a handheld. The controls are tight, and pulling off Kamehamehas with the shoulder buttons just works—though I still fumble the teleport dodges half the time.
You’ve got the usual roster of Saiyans and villains (Goku, Vegeta, Broly, etc.), but what surprised me was how well the story mode adapts the "Rebirth of Fusion" movie. It’s not just slapped together—there are proper cutscenes and dialogue that actually make you care about why you’re punching Janemba in the face.
The real fun kicks in with wireless multiplayer. Battles get chaotic when you’re both spamming supers, and the framerate somehow holds up. My only gripe? Some characters feel way stronger than others (looking at you, Cooler).
Even if you’re not a DBZ fanatic, the fighting mechanics are solid enough to keep you throwing energy blasts between bus stops.
