Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai 2 on PSP is basically a tiny, portable version of those ridiculous anime fights where everyone’s screaming and blowing up mountains. You pick your favorite DBZ character—Goku, Vegeta, even weirdos like Broly—and then just go nuts with combos, energy blasts, and those dramatic super moves that take forever to charge up (but look so cool when they land).

The fighting feels fast but not messy, and pulling off a perfect Kamehameha never gets old. What surprised me was the story mode—it’s not just retelling the same sagas again. Instead, you get this alternate timeline where things go sideways in fun ways, like "what if Goku turned evil?" or "what if Frieza won?" It’s dumb in the best DBZ way possible.

Oh, and if you’ve got a friend with a PSP, you can beat each other up wirelessly. Just try not to throw your console when they spam Vegeta’s Final Flash. This is still one of the better DBZ games you can fit in your pocket.
