Dragon Ball Z The Legend on Sega Saturn is basically a love letter to fans of the series—it’s got all the chaotic energy of the anime crammed into a fighting game. You start off picking from the usual suspects like Goku, Vegeta, or Piccolo, and within seconds you’re throwing Kamehamehas or dodging ki blasts. The controls feel a little stiff at first, but once you get the hang of chaining combos, it’s satisfying to pull off those flashy super moves.

What I like is how it leans into the over-the-top spectacle—screen-filling explosions, characters yelling attack names, that kind of thing. It’s not the deepest fighter out there, but if you just want to relive DBZ’s hype moments with a friend on the couch, this does the job.
