Game Overview

So The Guardian Legend starts with Earth chilling in the future, all peaceful—until some massive space station called NAJU decides to crash into it. Naturally, you get shoved into this experimental flight armor suit (because who else is gonna deal with this mess?) and sent to blow the thing up from the inside.

What's cool is how it mixes things up—one minute you're running through corridors blasting aliens in human form, the next you're zipping through tunnels as a transforming jet. The weapons feel satisfying when you finally upgrade them, though good luck keeping them if you die—the arcade mode especially doesn't mess around with that score reset.

Oh, and there's this sneaky alternate mode where it strips out the exploration and just throws you into nonstop shoot-'em-up levels. Found it by accident once and ended up replaying the whole thing that way.
