Play Final Fantasy Legend Online
You pick a weird little team—humans who train, mutants with random magic, or monsters that evolve by eating enemies—then watch everything go sideways when your best fighter turns into a blob after lunch. Classic Game Boy chaos.

Final Fantasy Legend came out on the Game Boy in 1989, developed by Square. It was one of the early RPGs for the system, a time when long adventures on a handheld felt ambitious and a little strange. You didn't get many games like this that you could carry in your pocket back then.
You control a party of four adventurers climbing a massive tower that reaches into the heavens. Your goal is to get to the top and confront the creator of the world. The game is built on a few key ideas: you explore the world screen by screen, fight enemies in turn-based combat, and manage a unique system where your characters can permanently change. Humans improve by buying better gear and using stat-boosting items, mutants learn and lose spells at random, and monsters transform by consuming the meat of defeated foes. It moves at a deliberate pace and can be quite difficult, with resource management being constant. Playing it feels like guiding a fragile, unpredictable expedition through a world that doesn't care if you succeed.
