Final Fantasy Sonic X4 is one of those weird, chaotic Flash mashups that somehow works. You’ve got Sonic squaring off against this ominous "Guardian" in a brutal fight, way more intense than your usual hedgehog action. Meanwhile, Tails and Knuckles are stuck dealing with Aeon and Bass, which feels like a whole separate battle happening in the background.
The real surprise? There’s a random mini-game where Tails goes one-on-one with Aeon. It’s totally unexpected but weirdly satisfying, like someone threw in an extra boss fight just because they could. The whole thing’s janky in that classic Flash way, but if you grew up with these characters, it’s hard not to love the absurdity.
Just don’t expect anything polished, this is pure early-2000s fan-game energy.
