Game Overview

Final Fantasy Sonic X1 is one of those weird, nostalgic Flash games that somehow just works. You start with Sonic literally rolling out of bed and right into a fight—no warm-up, no tutorial, just bam, here’s some turn-based combat. The battles aren’t super interactive yet (this was early in the series), but you still have to think about your moves, especially when random enemies jump you in the streets.

It’s janky in that charming old Flash game way, with chunky sprites and a weird mix of Sonic speed and Final Fantasy menus. If you played this back in the day, it’s a total nostalgia trip. If you didn’t, it’s still a fun little time capsule of early 2000s fan games. Just don’t expect anything polished.

Honestly, half the fun is seeing where this series started before it got more complicated.
