Waterworld throws you into the ocean—literally. You’re stuck piloting this weird trimaran thing, zipping around in red-and-black 3D trying to blast Smokers out of the water before they snatch the Atollers. It’s a bit chaotic at first, especially with everything constantly moving and that layered Virtual Boy depth messing with your eyes, but once you figure out where the enemies are coming from, it becomes more about fast reflexes than anything else.

Most of the time, you're just trying to keep up—chasing these jet-ski jerks before they carry off your people, shooting everything that moves, and hoping you don’t accidentally let an Atoller get dragged off the screen. You can still save them if you’re quick, but it gets overwhelming fast when there’s a swarm. Waterworld doesn’t waste time with backstory or buildup; it just drops you into the mess and expects you to handle it.

It definitely feels old-school—like one of those arcade games where the levels blur together and it’s all about how long you can survive. Not exactly deep, but there’s something kind of fun about the chaos once you get used to it. Waterworld may not be the prettiest or smoothest ride, but it does have that frantic “just one more level” energy when you're in the zone.
