I honestly spent a minute just staring at the way the ball flies into the screen—it looks kinda neat in that low-poly Virtual Boy way. But then the hazards start creeping in: bunkers, trees, water traps that somehow feel more annoying here than in other versions of golf I’ve played.

It’s not fast-paced or flashy, but golf on the Virtual Boy has this oddly relaxing vibe once you get into the groove. Just don’t expect any mercy if you misread the wind or overshoot—this course absolutely punishes sloppy shots.
